Captain
With experience in the field of collecting, disposing of marine waste (wash water/slop) and/or supplying ship fuels (bunkering)

Your role
As a captain, you are ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations on board our inland barges. You play a crucial role in the safe collection, disposal and transport of marine waste, such as wash water and slop, and in the supply of ship fuels (bunkering) within the ARA area.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the crew and ensuring a safe and productive work environment;
- Ensuring correct and efficient execution of collection and bunkering activities;
- Ensuring accurate administrative order processing;
- Ensuring safe and efficient navigation within the ARA area.
We are looking for
- A valid Large Vessel Licence;
- A Radar Patent;
- A VHF radio certificate;
- ADN-C (or ADN-B for bunker work);
- Excellent command of the Dutch language and good knowledge of nautical German and/or English.
