Are you an experienced captain with strong leadership qualities and a passion for safely transporting gas products? Then we have the challenge for you!
Your role
As a captain on board our modern fleet, you are the driving force behind our daily operations. You will ensure safe and efficient navigation and will be responsible for:
- Managing the crew: Motivating, guiding and ensuring a positive work atmosphere.
- Safety and efficiency: Overseeing adherence to safety protocols and optimal sailing performance.
- Administration and maintenance: Ensuring correct administrative handling and technical maintenance of the inland barge.
- Communication: Actively working with the office staff and other stakeholders to ensure that processes run smoothly.
We are looking for
- A Gas Patent;
- Until 1 July 2025: A Rhine Patent, preferably up to Mannheim;
- From 1 July 2025: A Rhine Patent, Mainz – Koblenz and preferably Mannheim – Iffezheim;
- A Radar Patent;
- A VHF radio certificate;
- ADN-G (ADN-C is a plus);
- Excellent command of the Dutch language and good knowledge of nautical German and English.
